Sons of Mitch’s was inspired by Mitch Smoot’s love for his family and friends as well as his affection for a good smooth glass of whiskey. Mitch dreamed of leaving a legacy for his kids that would remain long after he was gone. Developing a brand that could be enjoyed by others was a perfect way to do it. A devoted family man, with a wife, four sons and a daughter, Mitch set out to find the perfect spirit that would embody all that he desired for them.
Distilled in the heart of Tennessee and made from pure white sweet corn, Sons of Mitch’s Premium Tennessee Whiskey is all about bringing people together, enjoying each other’s company and making memories. Mitch also wanted to provide a means to help others in his endeavor. Sons of Mitch’s provides funding to charities throughout the country by giving back a portion of every bottle sold. These funds provide scholarships and grants that help to achieve dreams and strengthen communities.

Sons of Mitch’s Tennessee Whiskey is distilled in Kelso, TN in a traditional style that was crafted and perfected by five generations of master distillers. Made with white corn instead of the traditional yellow corn creates a subtle difference that enriches Sons of Mitch’s with a touch of sweetness.
Sons of Mitch’s uses pure Tennessee spring water and is distilled using ancient pot still techniques to remain true to its pre prohibition distiller roots.
